If you are migrating to a new iPhone and you want to transfer your data using the option of transferring directly from iPhone to iPhone it might not work if your old iPhone has a newer iOS than the new iPhone that was sitting on a shelf. Try setting up the new iPhone as a new phone and don’t transfer your data. Then update to the newest iOS on the new iPhone. Then after the new iPhone has been updated, reset the new iPhone and go through the transfer process.

AOL desktop gold doesn’t store your email in the same location like they used to. You can’t copy your organize folder to C:\programdata\aol\c_AOL Desktop xxx\organize and expect it to show up in AOL Gold. If you are going to a new computer then copy your AOL organize folder to your new computer then follow these steps.

The ‘PFC Import’ feature allows you manually navigate to a PFC file on your computer and import data from that file. To use this new feature follow these steps:

1. Sign in to AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click the Settings icon.
3. While in the General settings, click the ‘My Data’ tab.
4. Click ‘PFC Import’.
5. Select your file(the larges file that has your AOL account name).
6. Once your personal data is imported, you’ll have access to it in Desktop Gold.
