AOL desktop gold doesn’t store your email in the same location like they used to. You can’t copy your organize folder to C:\programdata\aol\c_AOL Desktop xxx\organize and expect it to show up in AOL Gold. If you are going to a new computer then copy your AOL organize folder to your new computer then follow these steps.
The ‘PFC Import’ feature allows you manually navigate to a PFC file on your computer and import data from that file. To use this new feature follow these steps:
1. Sign in to AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click the Settings icon.
3. While in the General settings, click the ‘My Data’ tab.
4. Click ‘PFC Import’.
5. Select your file(the larges file that has your AOL account name).
6. Once your personal data is imported, you’ll have access to it in Desktop Gold.
